I have that and zip lining on my bucket list. The keyword is "HAVE"😂. The weather here in the Seattle suburbs is not conducive to it now, and was a convenient excuse for not doing it on my birthday as I'd planned.
~~~ All we need is LOVE💖
Absolutely not. I'm not into that sort of thing.
I like to seek thrills on the ground. LOL
No, No, No.
No. Too chicken.
Last year, a youtube vlogger posted a video of her skydive jump. It was interesting to watch.
I'm not willing to get ON a plane these days, much less jump OUT of one! No thank you!
I have. I did it two years ago. In my state they no longer allow you to go solo on your first jump, so it was a tandem jump. I wasn't afraid of heights or jumping, but I was afraid of the landing until I saw it being done by others. What I wasn't prepared for was the actual free fall before the chute opens. We had some experienced divers on our plane, so they gave us a bigger plane and let us go up to the state maxium height. We jumped and I swear I thought I was going to have a heart attack and die before I landed. The air hits you and catches your breath. This I wasn't prepared for, I didn't even think about the free fall. Then the chute opens and you gently float until it is time to land. The landing was perfect.
People ask if I would do it again, and I would if someone else paid for it.....it wasn't cheap. But I did get the entire thing on video. I have a picture of me in my office during the free fall. The wind has taken my skin and mouth until I am alomost unrecognizable .
All in all it was a good day. I'm glad I did it. I was 57 at the time.
Probably not for a weird reason. It sounds like fun, and I would imagine that it is fairly safe. However, being strapped that closely to another individual, a STRANGER, would just make me too uncomfortable!
I would not but I know someone who did their first jump on their 75th birthday. It was just something she always wanted to do.
