I had an MRI a year ago and my orthopedic surgeon said he can see several partial tears in my rotator cuff and I am an excellent candidate for surgery. He also said the radiologist ( who he and every doctor I know, including my husband, says is the best) thinks she may see a complete tear. Anyway, I have been trying to manage this with cortisone shots and PT but the last shot has not helped and I am thinking about surgery. I have heard that the recovery is long and painful and wondered what your experiences were. I don't know anyone who has had the surgery but thought someone on here might have. Thanks so much!
