@San Antonio Gal wrote:I have my mix up at night. I take my meds before going to bed. I'm so tired that I take my meds then 5 minutes later wonder if I took them or not. That has happened a few times.
When I started to be unsure if I'd taken my thyroid med or not, I made myself a little med sign-out sheet to hang on the refrigerator.
But instead of just initialing each day, I'd enter the TIME I took it.
Even with that, I found I had to be very disciplined.
To eliminate any chance of error I'd hold the pill on my tongue while I pencilled in the time on my little med calendar, then swallow it.
Oh brother!!
Now I have more pills and have to set alarms on my phone to remind me to take them.

@Carmie I had a cousin who years ago forgot to put her dress on and found she was wearing only her slip and pantyhose under her winter coat when she got to work as a dispatch person. Lol
She took it with a good sense of humor and went home to finish dressing.

I've always worn trouser socks to work under slacks when it's been cold out. One early morning I put on one black sock and one brown sock in my purposely dim bedroom. I noticed it when I was getting out of my car at my work's parking lot and thought no one would notice anyway.
Within an hour, a 3rd person at work was asking me if I knew my socks didn't match. I looked her straight in the eyes and said, "That's the way they came. They're supposed to be 2 different colors. They have a little matching pattern at the top." I used that response for the rest of the day, but I'm not sure if anyone believed me. Lol

These various posts about a person going outside before they've finished dressing are really hitting home.
I spend a lot of time working in the yard & garden, and for the past few years I often get about 20' from the door and have the thought, "did I put my pants on?"
I always look down, and sure enough I'm always wearing pants.
But your posts have convinced me it's entirely possible someday I'll glance down and there won't be any pants! 😮

Well, ladies, before I got my permanent bridge, I wore a partial denture for 2 teeth (a front tooth and a next-to-it side tooth). I found it uncomfortable and didn't wear it when I was at home alone.
Well, I was so used to not wearing it I left the house one day without my teeth in! I went to my drive-up bank window, and the teller looked at me kind of strangely. I didn't even realize I had forgotten my teeth until I was halfway home!
And this wasn't even early morning, it was an afternoon, and I was in my 40's. I was so glad to get my permanent bridge.

Funny I feed my stripey cat first thing in the a.m--she gets a teaspoon of pumpkin and then a dollop of wet food. I then left the dish on the counter, walked away with my cup hot choc and after awhile--the cat was in a frenzy, zooming around the apartment acting almost rabid, she also opens the cabinet doors then lets them bang shut, ----and then I remembered that she was STARVING to death. Poor kitty!!!

Yup. I asked my husband how he got the clothes I'd hung up already upstairs. Said, yeah, got up early, washed, dried and hung it up. Then he said, you sure it was this morning? Turns out it was yesterday morning.
This whole week, my days have been mixed up.
But I thought you were going to say, you poured the hot water in the glass, too. LOL

Last year I purchased a really cheap one cup coffee maker for the camper. This year when we were camping, I put the grounds in the filter and pressed the button to start brewing. The machine wouldn't turn on. I kept trying and trying and nothing was happening. My DH came over to look at it and he went to pick it up and I told him to be careful because the water would spill out.
It was at that point I realized I had never put the water in, which is why it wouldn't brew. Duh!
