Well I kept them. May be a good thing since I wore the pair from last year yesterday and today and one shoe broke.
Now I have a extra shoe if the other pair breaks.

Don't answer...just making a point. BTW: Cute story!
Hi croemer,
In the past it was not uncommon for me to have more than 100 pair of shoes. Did not "order" any of them. In fact I tried on every single shoe, not just every pair, but each individual shoe. These were shoes made specifically for running. Some were for everyday training runs/some were for running shorter distances at faster paces/some were specifically for race day. All of them were designed for a specific use for many that could not use one type of construction when it came to these shoes because of the risk of injury.
Guess in regular people talk(short and to the point or a synopsis)I could just say: bought hundreds of shoes, but none of them were because I forget or by mistake.
100 pair...thats interesting John but I can understand since you need extra for each method of walking, running etc.

A couple days later I saw that they were still in the cart so I ordered them again thinking I hadn't clicked on the right button. The following week my settee and two chairs arrived as well as my bistro set. When I reordered I had added a glider to the mix. When it didn't arrive with the other pieces I just thought it was coming from another vendor. A few days later these huge boxes arrived that included the settee and the two chairs as well as the bistro set and the glider. My friends husband had put together the other sets and the glider I returned the settee set and gave them the bistro set for doing all this work for me. It is the first time I have done this and hopefully the last.
Yikes...what a mess. Guess we need to check our recent orders before ordering.

Go figure.... At least my taste is consistent!!!!!!
Apparently mine is as well.

What? Broke? Oh, man, that's not good. I'd be so mad. At least my DD "borrows" mine. I hate the pain of a broken shoe. Especially if it's one I really liked.

Yes while I was leaving my Mothers assisted living. I also had a lunch date with DH and had to run to Ulta. I found a staple and stapled that s*ucker which lasted through lunch and proceeded to break as I was going in Ulta. I hobbled around a bit and decided to go barefoot while making my purchases. DH was way out in the parking lot so I had to walk barefoot in our 100 degree temp today across hot pavement.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...I was not happy. Good thing I am a hoarder of shoes(apparently, as a poster insinuated) and have 100's of shoes at my disposal.

100's? GOOD GIRL!
I did at one time. I had a shoe fetish!
Now, I try to just look and wish, but I'd bet there are a 80 or 90 pair in my closet right now.
I love shoes.
