@Dusty1, I won 2 tickets to the famous Diana Ross concert in Central Park where she got rained on but sang anyway by being the right caller on the radio station. Guess what...tickets never arrived and they had no more so I didn't get to go! That has continued to be my luck to this very day 😩.

I won a pie eating contest. Everyone chose a double crusted fruit pie but I chose lemon meringue, Crust sticks to the roof of your mouth making it difficulty to swallow. My choice slid right down.

@ThatsLife----------THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! Now I am sitting crying, remembering that night. I lived in SoCal and watched on TV. When she said, I am not leaving until everyone is safely out of the Park, I just started bawling, kept it up through the whole time, until SHE left the stage!

On th etopic of winning, several spelling bees through elementary and jr hi. In high school, a raffle, I won an AKC registered Poodle puppy! I thought everyone was making fun of me, until they put that puppy and registration papers in my hands. Congratulations to all that have won ANYTHING, it is always fun!!!!!.------------ted

I watched the Diana Ross Concert "Live" via cable TV. It was fabulous!

@hoosieroriginal one car was a local radio sweepstakes. The other was from a national sweepstakes sponsored I believe from Kraft foods. Both I entered by mail.
