Have you ever had a feeling that something was behind you, or you thought you caught a glimpse of something passing by but when you looked nothing was there?

Maybe not quite what you mean but yesterday around dusk I was walking the dog near a heavily wooded area and I was positive we were being watched by a coyote.  Just a very strong feeling of being stalked.

I live in an area where there are coyote and bear sightings.

I think I have but no specific instance comes to mind right now.

I do remember one related instance, soon after one of my dogs passed away.  I was feeliing guilty because I thought I'd kept her hanging on too long.  That morning I felt her brush by my leg like she used to do in the mornings when I'd get ready for work.  I only felt it once and it was if she was telling me it was OK and that she was OK and that she forgave me.  It was a powerful feeling.

 We have a house in the country, where there are bears coyotes, mountain lions, deer all sorts of critters!

Stay safe and don't carry food with you, and your dog will alert you they have very good instincts.

When I was living at my house in CA, I was standing in the hallway talking to my mom, she was in her room and I felt someone was behind me, it happen a couple of times and after it happened more than once, it did frighten me!

I was always standing in the same area when this happened.

Just a weird feeling, has not happen to me since then.

Interesting OP.  Do you mean like a 6th sense of someone or something?

Not sure of what you mean by a 6th sense?

It was a strong feeling and I looked each time only to find nothing was there.

Sorta got exhausted feeling afterwards!

Not necessarily behind me but definitely a presence near me, or watching me, or in the same room as me. Occasionally I swear I hear my dog following me like he always did before he passed. It actually gives me a comforting feeling.

I have such thoughts/feelings often.

 One of the silly times this happened.......

I was standing in the kitchen talking to a friend.   I had the sense that something was coming into the kitchen toward me....and I moved ...while I kept talking to my friend....moving to get out of the way of that something that was passing by me in the kitchen.  

At least I get out of the way when something is passing by me.  I remain polite even to them.  (smile)
