I've never been to the olympics... or in any
I've never ridden a bull at a rodeo... but I have been to a rodeo before
I've never climbed a mountain or one of those straight up the side rocks...
That sort of thing........have you ever had a (probably) once in a lifetime experience?
How about jumping out of a plane?

I did jump from a plane in the 1980s it was horrible. Not a great memory. I was scared out of my mind.
On a trip out west my DH and I went to a dude ranch to tour and learn the daily routines. When we arrived they stopped the tour bus and said to watch they were bringing the horses down from the back pastures. It was amazing something I will never forget. The pounding of the hoofs and the cowboys all the horses and it was just a powerful moment. My DH said they set this up but I don't care it is something I will never forget.

When I travel i often think, I'll never be here again, when seeing or doing something for the first (and last time). So yes.

When I was in Sydney Australia many years ago I climbed the Sydney Harbor Bridge on a tour excursion. Sure you could not get me to do it now!

Yes, I got to experience Watkins Glen International in a 333 sp (sports prototype) as a passenger. Of course, the car was not built for passengers....
We reached 198 down the front straight! We used the full course (not the short course used by Nascar). Driving around the inner loop was a heartbeat. My driver kept asking me (through hand signs) if I was okay. I was! It was quite thrilling!

I saw a weeping icon our Our Blessed Mother at an Orthodox Church in Chicago in the early 90's with my parents.

I've been lucky to have a bunch of once in a lifetime experiences, but I think that is because I tend to not be afraid to try things. Some that come to mind
Skydiving
Climbing the Great Wall of China
Climbing to the top chamber of the Great Pyramid
Treking through the Amazon Jungle
Going down into a salt mine under one of the Great Lakes
Seeing the Berlin Wall and going into Communists countries
Hot air ballooning in Africa
So many more. I've been blessed. Thanks to the OP for starting this thread. I think it will remind many of us how truly blessed we are.

@Peaches McPhee Yes! On our many travels one of our favorite sayings is:
There's a first time and there's a last time and sometimes they are the same!
Have had countless once in a lifetime experiences--LOL!!!

When I was pregnant 48 years ago, they didn't have ultrasound. My DIL invited us to come to VA to be in the room for the ultrasound of our first grandchild. I have never been so speechless watching my granddaughter's heart beating, her tiny hands and feet as she moved. It was an experience I'll never forget. I cried tears of joy for days.
