She's still extremely noisy, but at least it's not banging. Just two weeks to go anyway. All those things she was hanging up (a neighbor told me this) are crucifixes and holy pictures. My neighbor said she holds bible meetings and some of them go. This neighbor told me she is a very caring person. So I'm glad for my neighbors that she's not some nut, which we all thought she was for a while.

Thanks for your best wishes, Jerri.

Oh, so glad it has not been constantly going on. Mark the days off and you can enjoy your new place. Hope the move goes smoothly for both.

I'm often guilty of replying to the thread without reading all of the posts. Gets me in trouble sometimes.......

Romary: I think most of us have done that, especially on long threads. My eyes tend to glaze over sometimes because the same thing is said over and over. LOL

Sometimes I'm not in the mood to post (meaning it's just not worth it to put down my pov) but will read through if the thread has an interesting topic.

You have to get it while it's hot sometimes, though, because a thread can disappear right before your eyes.{#emotions_dlg.blink}{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I don't read most topics, but will pay attention when the subject interests me. However, I refuse to read long, cut and paste posts. Keep it short and simple!

Re: Have you ever gotten halfway through a thread . . .

Most of the time I don't even look at a given thread......my decision is made primarily on who the OP is. Some posters who are frequent thread starters just like to hear themselves ""talk"" and have nothing really to say that is interesting or new. Obviously I don't have that opinion regarding this thread........LOL

Yes. Sometimes it's really not what I thought it was going to be about. Or --- I start to reply and then think better of it and just cancel. So many times an innocent remark does not come across as innocent in print.

I find that out when I try to reply and then say forget it.
