Re: Have you been to the library lately?

@OutofMadison 😂 I've done a walk by myself and have said a couple times, oh yeah I bought that to read.

Our library is closed also.  We are definitely in new territory here. ❤️🙏

I stocked up at the library first thing Saturday morning. DIL said the library in her town, next to mine, is closed. I gave her my card and she will try to go to my library tomorrow morning.

Re: Have you been to the library lately?

I was a Library Science major and didn't know about them not using the Dewey Decimal system - my actual career wasn't in a library so that will be my excuse. I picked up my reserved books Friday and have unread paperbacks to see me through any down time.

[ Edited ]

Our  public library is closed to the beginning of April.  As of right now.  It might change after April and stay closed longer. I've always worked in Academic libraries.

Currently working online from home as our university is closed. I do research and inter library loan.  We can't lend or borrow books now that the school is closed, but we do articles and get them to our patrons (mostly faculty and grad students) within 24 hours.

Go to Travelandlleisure.com and you can take virtual tours of museums. Very interesting!

How can they possibly sanitized the thousands of books in a library? No thanks. I will read online.
