Oh my goodness!  I just figured that I was the only one for whom the word 'curd' is problematic.

I have not eaten them.  I probably won't eat them.   Yes, the word 'curd' is a big part of the problem - heck, maybe the whole problem.    But I do love cheese.  It is one of my favorite food groups.  I probably eat cheese every day, but in small quantities.

yes, i have had some from DQ......great for snacking in the car during long car rides.

i have also had them on top of poutine. that is a popular appetizer at some restaurants around our area.

I had them for the first time when my daughter bought them with the idea of making what seems to be a Canadian favorite: French fries with cheese curd and gravy.  It does not look very attractive, but it's delicious!  I guess they can afford such indulgence with the calorie burn they get in the cold climate.

I like them: they remind me of dry cottage cheese.
