The state I live in does not allow smoking in any indoor public buildings pretty much anywhere in the state.
today I was having my hair cut by my special hair dresser, have been going to her for several years. I like how she cuts what little hair I have left.
QUESTION I HAVE IS ::: while I was in the chair having my hair cut, a young man walked into her salon (she is the owner of this salon) (this man was a friend of hers) and began turning the channels on her t.v., no problem with that, but then he TOOK OUT AN electronic cigarette and began to smoke it.
I being a former smoker (years ago I quit) really didn't want to be around this smoke. I was almost finished with the hair cut, I didn't want to cause a scene, paid my hair cutter lady and left quickly.
I wonder what should I say if this happens again??. I really don't want to be around smoking and have to cough once again. I do not want to cause a scene either. Should I talk with my hair dresser privately and ask that she not allow smoking her shop, since smoking is not allowed in buildings anywhere in Delaware. Or just keep my mouth shut not to cause hard feelings.???
