We just watched Room tonight. Wow, very intense and emotional.

Anyone see it?

A kidnapped mother and son escape from a room in which they have endured imprisonment for the entirety of her son's life. Upon breaking free from its confines, they experience a dramatic homecoming; provoking insight into the depths of imagination and the extent of a mother's love.

@justmyopinion I haven't had the chance, but the family wants to go see the Superman/Batman movie.  When you're surrounded by boys, that's about as gripping as it gets! 😂

The he movie you saw sounds good, though.  I'll have to look it up!

I kind of thought that because I do see discussions about the Kardashians, Dancing With the Stars, The Voice  and other TV shows on here.

Oh well, maybe the moderator will decide if this should be moved.

@justmyopinion There are a wide variety of threads on this board.  That's what's so great about Community Chat.  I'm glad you started an interesting topic, and shared about a movie that now I'd really like to see.

I thought Room was a nice little movie----not great, but well acted and interesting.

Brie Larson was fantastic. She won The Academy Award for Best Actress - very deserving!
