I'm not advocating a search and send. An article had me thinking of a past friend who moved to California the summer after seventh grade and I wondered if there were posters who search out people they used to know.
It's not something I would do; I like to remember people as they were, which is the reason I have never attended a class reunion.

A few months ago I created a Facebook account because there was a group I wanted to join. I didn't post any information on the profile. I didn't even use my real last name. Somehow people found me though. Two of them were old nosy coworkers that I have not spoken to in years. It baffles me how they tracked down my profile. Does anyone who is Facebook savvy know how that is possible? I ended up deleting the account.
