Only 32, but that is 32 more than we've had in the last 5 years. We are dog/house sitting for our son, thus I was in heaven. One little (about 2 years old) was hesitant about entering the yard through the open gate, so I took the bowl to him and told him to take a handful, BUT before he did, he deposited his half-eaten Baby Ruth into the candy bowl 😂😂😂 His mortified mother collected it and took the candy around it.

@Sooner. Nary a one but I really didn't expect any. I live in a neighborhood where you never see the few kids who live here. It's weird.

3 little ones at 6:45 with Mama and Dad.

@Sooner We're getting close to 100, most seem to be from the neighborhood & grade school aged but just now we had some maybe high schoolers.

My husband went around to all the kids we know in our neighborhood, so he could give them the full sized candy bars. Then he bought two 5 pound bags of fun size candy bars.

I think he had about 40 kids. He sat outside so he could see the kids.

BUT we did have entertainment. Our neighbor's friend, got all dressed up in a silver outfit. He even did his face in silver. And he leaned against our neighbor's light post. So when the kids would walk by and he then moved. He gave the kids some excitement and the other neighbors too.

@Enufstuff , @LTT1 , @Batty @EastCoastGal @Oznell PS - I was talking to my neighbor. She was saying the friend that dressed up, all in silver started out the evening as "the Tin Man" from Wizard of Oz. And he took his daughter out trick or treating. She was Dorothy, dressed up in a blue and white checkered dress with red shoes.

She didn't last too long. He only lives down the street, so he decided to visit his friend, who ended up having about 20 people over.
