~ Have I spoiled my Molly? ~

Yesterday a girlfriend stopped by who has a big yellow lab. Molly and he get along quite well, but he always humps her (he is neutered). Usually whenever anyone comes, except for my son and his Vizsla, she wants to sit on my lap. Yesterday she wanted to sit on my lap and my friend said, "wow, is she spoiled." Is she? I don't know. I guess I just figured that being a breeding dog in a puppy mill for 4 years and then "outliving her usefulness to them" she deserved a lot of love, attention and cuddling.

Have I spoiled her? What exactly is spoiling? If I have, how do I undo it?
