@Laura14  My relationship with my mom was both good and bad, as she was an alcoholic (that's what killed her at such a young age).  Through all that, I understand the reasons why she drank (my father), and she did truly love us.  My perspective on things becomes more clear as I age!

We had two silver tip white cats not all that long ago.  We had loved them so much.  They died about four years apart.

After each death, I was sure I spotted that one running around a corner or entering another room.  It would go on for maybe a year, and then each disappeared in her own time.

I finally told my daughter about it.  It had never bothered me, even thinking they might still be around.  My daughter is a very practical young woman, not given to fancies and not a religious person.  I wasn't sure what she would say but I wanted her to know.

She told me she had seen them, too, and for the same periods of time.

@Mistreatedbycs Your neighbor would need to contact a spiritual medium who has the natural gift of seeing the deceased.  The medium will cross them over and there won't be any more sightings.  I feel it's cruel to just let them stay around day after day, year after year, decade after decade.  They need help to go into the light and begin their new life on the other side.

I am an open minded skeptic.....I do not believe in the TV Shows (Long Island Medium, Ghost Adventures, Ghost Whisperer etc) and I live on Civil War battlefield. I have owned a Ouija Board which did nothing negative. Many people had the Parker Brothers Ouija Board. Now I do concult as an advisor on would be ghost hunters not going around doing thier "thing" on our sacred burial sites etc. I think maybe some of us are more open then others....I apparently am not and want to keep it that way. I think others watch too much TV and believe it as truths. I even went to the Old Washoe Club in Nevada as it was supposedly very haunted and all I found was Ghost Adventures TV Show memorbilia. I did finally see what I thought was a shadow figure last week in our woods but I cant be 100% sure. I dont know if "spitit" want to cross over or where or if there is some "light" but we wont find out until is our time I guess. I dont believe in 90% of the mediums I have seen either or their ability to sense anything. I am open to and love to hear of the Haunted experiences of others.......anything not "faith based"

I can't believe somebody actually bought that Amityville house!

Must've been a give away.

Love Roses...I mentioned something like that to my previous neighbor but he said as long as she doesn't bother me, let her be.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
