Re: Haunted Hotel Tour

[ Edited ]

@Haoo. The book, Mysteries of the Magnolia Hotel, is very good.  You can most likely borrow it electronically from your local library.  I also just finished Haunted New Braunfels and am currently reading Haunted Seguin.  There is some great local history in all of these books.

I definitely want to read the Magnolia Hotel book before taking the tour. Not available on Kindle, so I purchased the paperback. The other two sound interesting also.
Looks like the tours sell out pretty quickly. I really want to stay at the hotel. I'll be in the area late July but will have grandkids with us, so aiming for sometime in the fall. Thanks again MamaWick for the info.

@MamaWick

Have you ever stayed at the Hotel del Coronado located in San Diego, CA?  It was built in the 1800's.

There is one room 3327 that guests today continue to request to stay in that is supposedly haunted.  In Nov of 1892, a guest named Kate Morgan mysteriously died on the exterior staircase after days of checking into room 3327, there seems to be a history about that room.  It has also been reported that the most haunted area of the hotel is the gift shop.

The hotel is about a 2 hr drive from where I live in SoCal but I have never stayed or visited this beautiful Victorian hotel.

@yellowrose  after you read the book, I'd love to discuss it with you.  I have a couple of thoughts.
