Unfortunately, the do not call only screens sales people. I'm still getting calls from every charity and politician in the country.

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.

Still getting calls from the 'lower your interest rate' people. .... I stay on the line and tell the rep(s) to please take me off of their list, and that doesn't work, either. One would think, in this day and age', with all of the technology, etc., that someone would put a 'halt' on these calls, especially when the citizens have requested. And, actually, the calls could be a danger to senior citizens/elderly/ill people who have to 'run' to answer their phones, thinking they are important/family/doctor phone calls. It's a wonder that some protective group hasn't thought of the possible physical dangers to the elderly. A true wonder.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

There is software for some phone users. I love it!!

FABulous!! It says Time Warner and COmcast have the software now--- finally maybe we'll get some relief from these calls.

I would LOVE to be able to stop the robocalls. What makes it worse is that you can't even try to get them to stop because there is no live person. Too bad I don't have internet-based phone service. This service alone makes me want to re-think that, though.

I absolutely ABHOR that these places can use your phone number without your permission. They aren't paying the bill - we are. They have no right. Telemarketing, and home soliciting, are the two things that I hate the most of all annoyances and/or intrusions. Until they want to pay my phone bill and property taxes, they should have no rights as to my property. PERIOD

I have caller id set up to pop up on my tv which is usually on, somewhere in the house, if anyone is home, even if just for background noise or to let any burglar know people are home. Smiley Happy So . . . these days I don't even answer IF I don't recognize the number and very, very rarely will it be someone who actually leaves a message. Sick & tired of the solicitations. Right off the get-go when they mis-pronounce my name . . . I try to politely tell them no and they try for a lower amount so not answering to start with is the easiest solution for me.
