Re: Hasn't Tina Turner aged well?

She doesn't owe anyone more information than she chooses to give. I am just happy she is doing OK

I totally agree.

But if I go to Barnes & Noble to buy her memoir,

I wanna know if I should look for it in ‘Fiction’ or ‘Non-Fiction.’

Just because she decides to keep some things to herself, doesn't make it fiction. Perhaps she had cancer ,and doesn't want to make it public..I have no idea. It took a lot of courage to undress in public ..if she prefers to do it in the shadows ,so be it

Re: Hasn't Tina Turner aged well?

I was just reading an article (in Star) where she does talk about her stroke and she did have early stage intestinal cancer as well as her kidney failing.

Then I did not know her oldest son Craig took his own life in July of this year. That is so sad! Just too sad.

And didn't know she gave up her American citizenship and has been living in Europe for some time.

@MorningLover  Long ago, I once read a quotation from Prince Charles about how great he thought TT's legs are.  Now that was an unlikely thing to read from him!  Smiley Happy   I never think of him as being very hip, like Tina is so it kinda surprised me that he was even familiar with her, let alone loved her legs!

I met her in the 70's at the Lake Geneva Playboy Club, what a nice, warm  inviting person she was......Very very kind!!! I was very very young at the time, but she made such an impression on me and my sister and mom.
