Re: Has your favorite color changed over the years?

I thought about this last night.  Doing crochet now, I'm really enjoying so many colors of yarn.  I see how Turquoise brings out other colors too and black really makes some stand out too.  But I really like gray and tans now.

Much younger it was pink.  Middle age it was burgandy/mauve that area of colors.

Today with all  this snow and cold, yellow is appealing to me.

For as long as I can remember I loved red!  Still love it and it is still my favorite.  I do love a few other colors such as pink, coral, turquoise, lilac quite a lot but not as much as my red!!!!!

Re: Has your favorite color changed over the years?

I don't think I've ever had a favorite.  Color just suits the moment.

We bought a house that has pepto bismol walls - or maybe closer to calamine, depending on the time of day - in two bathrooms.  It's really pretty ugly, but I can't bring myself to change them.  There's something about seeing things through another's eyes that interests me (someone must have liked this color).

I do look pretty horrible in some colors in the winter but I care less and less about it.  If I feel like it, I'll wear it anyway.  Just in a mood for that color.

Yes. It used to be red when I was in my 20s and 30s. Now I’m more of a blue/ periwinkle girl. Oh, I let my hair go gray so that probably factored in there somewhere.

Re: Has your favorite color changed over the years?

I don't have one set color, but an array of colors for different things.

Overall, pink has been my favorite color since I was a little girl.

But for a car color choice--that's not an option, really.  (That would be black or white.)

Also for exterior of a house--can't be pink, I can go with any color available except blue or gray.

Pink gemstones are not good enough for me (rose quartz, kunzite, morganite--even pink diamonds---aren't the right pink, so I have to settle....lol.

Do I have a lot of pink in my wardrobe?  No, but some.

I love combinations with pink.  Pink and black, pink and white, pink and orange, pink and green, pink and yellow, pink and purple.

Purple is my second favorite color.  From royal purple to lilac, lavendar, violet,  but alas, no purple pickup truck for me.

I’m just as awestruck, now, as I was the first time I saw the beautiful blue waters of a tropical island.  So, it is still my favorite color.

However, age has given me a greater appreciation of all the different varieties of gray.

For a long time, my favorite color was blue too more like a greenish blue though. But yes it does keep on changing every few months. From blue, I had switched to pink once my sister pointed out that it really suits me, then I moved to leafy or sap green, grey and now currently its orange - like a rusty or sunset orange.
