Has anyone seen The Hobbit???

Hi Everyone--I'm usually over on the Beauty Forum, but I had a movie question. Has anyone here seen this movie? I'm asking b/c my 11 y.o. Has read all the LOTR books and has loved every one. He'd love to see the movie; however, it's PG13, I'm typically really careful about movie ratings and my kids. But he wants to see it sooo badly that I thought I'd ask here for any reviews???? If I bring my older son, I may have to bring my younger son, who is 8. For those that have seen this movie, what is your opinion on the appropriateness for these ages??? TIA.Smiley Happy
