I know this is sort of off-topic but has anyone tried the DNA tests for Dogs.  They sell them on Amazon with some good reviews.  Was just wondering what any of you think.

I did mine and it was not that much of a surprise. We always thought we were Irish and Italian and it turns out there is a little Eastern European, Greek and just a tad Jewish. I got my kit on sale last year for $69. It was fun.

Have had Ancestry, 23andme and Family Tree DNA testing. They all "agree", only small surprises that were verified by genealogy research, i.e. the DNA testing backed up what I already "knew" from genealogy - which doesn't always match "family stories" of ancestry.

 

Combined testing compared to what I "knew" via genealogy seems to me 100% accurate. Love it!
