Has anyone gotten this e-mail from Amazon?

{#emotions_dlg.glare}Dear customer,

This is a random selection from Amazon.com, we selected more than one million customers in first step then we have chosen just one hundred other customers also randomly to be winner of a coupon for $1.000.

In order to download your coupon ticket code winner, you have to complete a short survey.
If you don't know how to complete it, read this instructions:

1) Click complete survey in the link below.
2) Click DOWNLOAD NOW!
3) Choose one of the surveys from the list and click on it.
4) Enter required information and submit it.
5) Wait couple of seconds and your download will start.

Is there any way to verify it's from Amazon? Wonder what kind of information they want?

I'd be leery.....

Nope. Not one in mine.

Yeah, one word: SCAM.

Was Yuban, then changed to Plaid Pants due to forum upgrade, and apparently, I'm back to being Yuban.

It's a scam. Contact Amazon.

I doubt it is from Amazon. Check out these links. The first is how to identify if an email is from Amazon and the second is to report phishing/fraud emails.

I delete anything that says dear customer or account user.

I figure if it's real then next time I go to log on it will let me know.

I strongly suspect scam. The part I bolded is one of the dead giveaways of scam - poor use of the English language.

Another sign, wanting you to download something. Amazon wouldn't have you download anything, you would take the survey on-line.

Re: Has anyone gotten this e-mail from Amazon?

I think the biggest clue that it is spam is the first sentence "" This is a random selection"" is so convoluted. Also the dear customer instead of your name I guess that is actually the biggest tip off to being spam.
