Re: Has anyone ever ordered from Lush?

The store is in the mall I walk...they have the cutest things. Inexpensive items for Secret Santa gifts or stocking stuffers. I personally like 'Silky Drawers'...a powder that smells wonderful! Aren't these cute bath bombs?

Re: Has anyone ever ordered from Lush?

They began in Liverpool and gradually over the last ten years have travelled to North America.

I love their soaps, esp. "Honey, I Washed the Kids." Very gentle for sensitive skin.

They are most famous, I think, for their bath bombs, which sometimes are full of sparkles and whizz around the tub as they melt. Lots of fun and maybe a great bet for your young giftee, though they do make a mess of sparklies after the bath. I like the non-bath bombs, including the ones I have now, which look like little robots.

I won't purchase anything from them because they support the terrorist group Hamas.

I love LUSH.

You can love it all you want, that doesn't change their practices. Just know where a portion of your money is ending up and if your conscience can accept that.

Forgot to add...many of their products are great for traveling. Bars of shampoo/conditioner, bars of lotion & these little tooth tabs are a light-weight alternative for traveling.

There are poor, innocent people whose lives have been destroyed by war on BOTH sides of every conflict.

I love LUSH.

Didn't you know there's a short list of innocent lives that matter? Palestinian children are not on it.

And yes, LUSH has great products. I don't care for their body crèmes, but their bath bombs and soaps are wonderful.

Re: Has anyone ever ordered from Lush?

Didn't LUSH support OneWorld song? This was their statement on their page at the time:

This month we have the exciting opportunity to help secure a UK chart position for a song called ‘Freedom for Palestine’ by a collective of musicians called OneWorld. The aim of the song is to raise awareness of the Israeli occupation of Palestine and the resulting poverty and other human rights abuses.

Is/was there more?

Re: Has anyone ever ordered from Lush?

Momto2- I can't answer your question, but I can tell you many are quick to boycott over things that have little connection to supporting terrorists.

I know 2 people who are boycotting Home Depot and Walmart for flimsy reasons. Home Depot held a Muslim sensitivity training for employees in Muslim prevalent markets. Walmart agreed to carry halal meats in a couple of Muslim prevalent markets.

People will be outraged over anything. In this case the outrage is based on the most ridiculous and ignorant of reasons.
