QVC has jacked up their shipping charge from 3.00 to $3.50. Do they think no one would notice?

I don't think they "jacked up" the shipping charges, the shipping prices go up every January, hence the increase.

noticed it a while ago.....maybe the past month or so?
no surprise. postal rates are going up.

They did this months ago, and yes, customers noticed. It's been discussed a lot on the forums.

It's a shipping fee increase. Happening all over. Why would you think QVC was trying to be stealth about it?
Everything is going up.

A light weight single item clothing order from Macy's is costing me $10 for the convenience of delivery. $3.50 looks pretty good.

I worked in retail my entire life and I can tell you from experience that QVC has inflated shipping rates. Most times shipping is based on weight of package. Every retail store I ever worked at did ship to home or business, so over the course of 42 years I packed a lot of merchandise. We always had to weigh the package and write the weight of the package on the outside of the box. Last night I had three items of clothing in my cart and just could not hit "buy" when I realized I would be paying $10.50 for shipping.

Both UPS and the USPS have increased their rates. Would you expect QVC to keep theirs the same?

I don't mind the 3.50 but when they ship 3 items in 1 package and charge 10.00 for shipping, I have a problem with that, they should offer free shipping when you spend a certain amount like other vendors do, even Macy's

@nomless. I believe the OP is referring to the rate increase that happened in December, just a few days ago.
