I did that the last time that I went to Costco. My car was in the shop so my son let me take his car. In the time that I was in Costco, I forgot that I had his car. I passed it I don't know how many times before I realized duh. I didn't drive my car there. My son had a good laugh when I told him about it.

Here's another bonehead one I did recently.  Had found a recipe called Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies.  They turned out so well I made them again a few days later....but they were falling apart this time.  Finally realized I'd forgotten the egg....leave it to me to forget an ingredient in a three ingredient recipe!

Oh my gosh, that is SO funny!!!  Sounds like something I would do!  Oh yeah, I did.  I couldn't get the cable picture to come on.  We had our service on seasonal disconnect and we couldn't get a picture.  I was getting pretty perturbed with customer service when they were telling me how much a service call  would co$t.  While we were "talking" I figured out that I had the TV set for channel 3 and not channel 4.  When I changed it, the picture came right on.  I felt SO stupid!!!

I've walked out of the house with two different earrings. Nobody said anything to me about it. They must have thought l was starting a new fashion trend, lol.

I've done that with the 2 different earrings too, no one said anything. I've also had where I walk out with 2 earrings but I lose one along the way somewhere so I'm only wearing one earring. Again, no one ever said anything.

I did that the other day with my dog, Willie.  I shut him in the laundry room.....he follows so close behind me that I never knew he was in there with me.  A short time later I heard him barking.  DH came and got me and said "did you know you shut him in there??"

I have one cat that follows me around. I've shut that poor cat in my bathroom or spare room I don't know how many times. I don't even realize he's missing. My son will hear him scratching to get out of whatever room I've shut him in & lets him out.

This one is so stupid, I'm glad no one here knows who I am IRL.

It was an incredibly hot and humid day in the summer. DH accidentally locked his car keys in his car. He called me to come with the extra set. I was about half an hour away. I said to him on the phone, "It's so incredibly hot outside...why don't you at least sit in the car with the door open so you don't have to stand in the sun.

I grabbed the wrong tube and put toothpaste on instead of ointment,

got in the wrong car with another man instead of DH....the look on the guy's face was priceless 😆

locked myself out of the house in only underwear, when it was in 25 degrees and snowing 😒

just last night i opened bottom draw walked away and got a big french knife and walked back forgetting about the draw and totally fell over it and knife flew thru the air. me maria and dog are all safe though. the list goes on and on.
