Has Anyone had Rotator Cuff Surgery?

I am Scheduled to have rotator cuff surgery, doc says the rehab is fairly long, can't move my arm at all for the first 30 days to allow the shoulder to completely heal. Anyone have experience with this? Any advice would be appreciated. Doc said that about 70% of her patients think it's the worst thing they have ever been through.
