How about something that's real coconut water and pineapple juice mixed with something to make it bubbly? Williams-Sonoma had some machine that makes things into bubbly.

That is a great idea! I happen to have one of the those soda machines too thanks to my husband who can't resist a kitchen gadget!

My kids like the grapefruit flavor. My grocery store had a variety pack on sale and I bought a few cases. Sometimes you just need that carbonation. Lol

My DH and I love them! He's a big water drinker (plain) anyway-me not so much. He drinks LaCroix also, but I think it tastes like battery acid. LOL Anyway, when our grandkids came to visit in July we took them to the store to let them pick out what they like to eat ..cereal, snacks etc. and they loaded down the cart with the Ice drinks. I think they got all the different flavors. Dh and I tried them and they're delish! I have been wanting to cut down on soda and these just fit the bill. They run $1 a bottle at our store, but we found them at Sam's recently for $11.99 for 18, bundled in 3 different configurations of flavors. That figures out to about $.60 a bottle. Peach necturine is my fave, but they're all really good.

I'm good, aside from being uncomfortable in this everyday heat We're not used to that around here.

I like these a lot. However, the sweetener is sucralose, known as Splenda which is considered to be an artificial sweetener.

I think you're absolutely right! I sure haven't been getting that with iced tea, so this sparkling stuff is a real treat.

I read a couple of articles that said that's not true, they use Stevia. I think Stevia comes from a plant, not a chem mix.
