I've been saying for several years there's money to be made in services like this. People don't always have the time to shop, or a car, and some are ill or elderly.

I saw a van the other day advertising that it was a mobile pet grooming service, credited with recommendations, etc. Great idea, imo.

I used to use Peapod for my daughter when she was interning in DC. She got a bad virus at one point, snowing outside and no food in the house she shared with roommates, so I ordered a lot for her, chicken soup included.

It's a great service!

we have that in our area also......along with some smaller family run upscale grocery stores that will deliver also. sometimes it is a GREAT service.

Its not in our area. I am in a hicktown in PA. We don't even have pizza, sandwiches, Chinese food, or ANY delivery here..lol.

It's only in very specific locations right now: Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco. I'm not far from SF but it's not available to me.
