It's good to see you Lilac Tree.  With all of the problems you were having with your nic right before the conversion I was worried you wouldn't make it over here successfully.  Glad to know you are still here!

Ford, anyone who associated you with something toxic isn't worth squat. You are one of the people who start threads and you brought a lot of pleasure here for many of us. I understand your wanting something new......I did it myself but always remember that what some person who needs to be negative and toxic on an internet chat board says about you, says far more about THEM that it ever would about you.

Thanks SR.  I've never changed my nic before (unless because of a glitch in which case I had no choice and always changed it back when they fixed the glitch).

I am hoping this BB will continue to hold my interest the way it's now set up.  It's way too hard to find things.  Perhaps they will fix it so that it makes sense again. 

So far I can't think of a single thing to post anymore.  I like "orderly," not helter skelter all over the place.  It's too taxing for this old brain.

Anyway, I appreciate your advice and you are right, of course.  Thank you.

Hi Ford! Glad to find you. You have more friends than you know in these forums. Yes, there were a few that always antagonized you, so I understand your name change. It is hard to have someone bully a person (that they don't even know) and you have to just try to let it roll off. Gets old I am sure.

You always start good topics, I always follow your threads.

How is your daughter doing? I know someone who is in the same shape with Lyme illness, so I do like to hear about how she is. It is a horrible disease. Debilitating, although doctors don't seem to know how to treat it. It is more on the radar now, but no further in treatment unless one can afford a functional doctor and pay with cash. Being 'on the radar' sadly does not help the ones that are in the chronic stage.

Do I have to call you Lilac? LOL! I am stuck on the Ford name.

Hi to you, Lilac Tree, it is good to know you're on here too. My ole brain is having a real workout and I don't like it. This place used to at least be enjpyable for me, no more.

You can call me whatever you're comfortable with, gabstoomuch.  I changed it for the reasons I stated, and also when I saw it come up with my other nics (that were only changed temporarily and then changed back), I liked it, and when I decided to change my nic for good, I decided to use this one.  Couple of good reasons I won't go into right now because they are personal and I also have decided not to post anything personal again, unless it's really benign. 

So I won't really be a recognizable "Ford" anymore unless someone searches my new nic.  About half of my posts are there . . . in fact less than that really because I lost 3,500 posts when they had the last glitch four or five years ago and I couldn't sign in as Ford anymore and was trying new nics.  Now I've lost more than half of what I had, which was close to 15,000.  So although it says 6,000+ something, it is actually closer to 20,000.  Doesn't matter I guess because it probably happened to everyone either deliberately or by mistake.

My little daughter is doing better, she is on two antibiotics now and a huge amount of probiotics.  She still has problems with her memory, and she still sleeps a lot, but she is able to get to the doctor, etc., and we are helping her pay him.  So I keep my fingers crossed that she will beat this.  Since we moved here together there is less stress, and that's important.

They still have a lot of format problems here, but at least it's beginning to look more like it was.  "Community Chat" will just become the new Viewpoints, it seems.

Anyway, thank you gabstoomuch for your really nice post and kind words.  I'm really surprised that I was missed, frankly.  I'm not seeing many of the posters, I guess we're all in waiting mode to see how this whole experiment ends up!
