@Yardlie, there is a nice little shopping area close to the QM called Shoreline Village that has many restaurants and wonderful ocean views and views of the QM. A bit of walking, but only as much as is wanted. A long-time favorite restaurant is Parker's Lighthouse, in the photo in the link. You can also check it all out (website) from this link.

And of course the Aquarium of the Pacific is nearby. They do have wheelchairs I believe.
