So you'd be okay with a KKK rally on the quad then.....or your town green. Okay..thanks for weighing in.

Maybe you should protest outside the pub.On 5/9/2014 wookie said: I am disgusted by satanism as I am by the Westboro group, and the KKK, but all groups mentioned are protected under the Constitution. So you'd be okay with a KKK rally on the quad then.....or your town green. So.....how would you feel if they allowed a KKK rally on the quad? Is that A-OK with everybody?
KKK isn't a religion.
Linders said "all forms of expression should be allowed.".(a KKK rally would be a form of expression)....... Most people here are usually up in arms and want to prevent the Westboro Baptist folks from expressing their views......just wondering if those same folk feel the same about a Satanic Mass being said on the Harvard campus.
I don't believe a baby is sacrificed at a Satanic Mass. As long as no animals are harmed (or people) it's much ado about nothing. The organizers are expecting a lot of publicity. Let's not give them any.
KKK promoted violence against human beings and their property. Not the same, IMO. In the 1920s, my grandparents owned a general store in a small village in PA. The KKK came to their house, burned a cross on the lawn, rode around on horses and left a note telling the "dirty Italians" that was their warning to get out of town or get hurt - and their kids would be killed - they were Catholics from Italy too. My grandparents moved.
See what I mean? The KKK is a different story.

And the more attention they get, the more they are encouraged to act out.

No, the KKK is NOT a different story. Whether your grandparents were run off for being Italian or Catholic (most likely both), the KKK has its roots in anti-Catholicism.
These black "masses" parody the Catholic mass.
Same hate, different crew.

Freedom of speech Emma, it wouldn't bother me. I would walk right by them and wave hello.
