I agree. Ignore it.

So.....how would you feel if they allowed a KKK rally on the quad? Is that A-OK with everybody?
KKK isn't a religion.
Look it up, it is a recognized religion.

KKK promoted violence against human beings and their property. Not the same, IMO. In the 1920s, my grandparents owned a general store in a small village in PA. The KKK came to their house, burned a cross on the lawn, rode around on horses and left a note telling the "dirty Italians" that was their warning to get out of town or get hurt - and their kids would be killed - they were Catholics from Italy too. My grandparents moved.
See what I mean? The KKK is a different story.
No, the KKK is NOT a different story. Whether your grandparents were run off for being Italian or Catholic (most likely both), the KKK has its roots in anti-Catholicism.
These black "masses" parody the Catholic mass.
Same hate, different crew.
The KKK is anti-Catholic, anti-black, anti- everybody but what they are.
That's perfectly OK with me. But they are an organization that has a history of violence. That is the difference.
Who cares if someone parodies a Mass? I am Catholic and I don't care. It's performance art. It's protected free speech. Don't give them publicity...don't act horrified or angry... they will stop.
People get offended way too easily, IMO.
There are so many beautiful, uplifting things to concentrate on in this life - why let
about of people acting out bother you???
ITA! Let them show their ugly faces for who they are. Oh, that''s right, they won't. They hide their ugly faces behind a sheet. Cowards.
People should see these people and act accordingly. Walk away, don't give them any attention.

Does Satanism profess racism or bigotry toward others?
Do they target certain groups? Are their beliefs based on hatred or aggression?
How are they different from other faiths, other than the "higher power" they worship?
I don't know, that's why I'm asking.

I find it interesting that the same ones outraged by Westboro Baptist's beliefs seem to be so tolerant of Satanists' beliefs.......and their mockery of the Catholic church.

That's it in a nutshell. Freedom of religion means for all religions, not just those the majority likes. The only conditions are that all follow the law. Santaria is not allowed to practice animal rituals.
So.....the Westboro Baptists should be allowed to shout slurs because of freedom of speech, then. And same thing with the KKK. Freedom of speech .....just like religion....is for all people, right? No matter how distasteful we find it. Thanks for weighing in. This is a real eye opener for me.
Westboro went to the Supreme Court and won their suit.
KKK groups have also marched in parades.
Freedom of speech means ALL speech, not just what you allow.
Don't like it? Ignore it.
And if they break the law, arrest them.
We don't throw the Constitution away because we don't like something.
