Re: Hardly any catalogs for the holidays

@AngelPuppy1......I really don't know how many.  Haven't counted them.  But way way too many.

Did most of my shopping on line this year, and when I received some of the items, also received another catalog.  So, that added to the pile.  LOL

Re: Hardly any catalogs for the holidays

Usually I get LLBean, Duluth, Vermont Country Store and Yankee Candle catalogs.

I also miss the days when we got many more.

Loved paging through the Sears and JC Penney's massive catalogs over and over until they became dog-eared.

My dad however gets a lot of catalogs. I am pretty sure this is happening because he receives many subscription magazines.

I wish I could send you mine!  I hate getting them and always get a pile of them I've never heard of.  In the trash the go.

Re: Hardly any catalogs for the holidays

I rarely get any catalog.  I don't even get Land's End and L.L. Bean catalogs.  I've gotten unusual one.  I received the Frame catalog, Rag & Bone, etc.  Nordstrom's of course.  But that's about it.

Re: Hardly any catalogs for the holidays

I get probably 3 a week, but not from anyone I would buy from.

I live in the wrong zip code to get the good ones.

I get stuff like Seventh Avenue and Fingerhut

Re: Hardly any catalogs for the holidays

I get tons of catalogs all year around and even more at Christmas time.

If you want more catalogs, you can order them online.  There are sites that you just check off what you want, there are hundreds to choose from, and they will be sent to you..everything from farm equiptment to food items.

I don't want that catalog mess in my house.  Almost all of the get deposited in the recycling bin before I get to the front door.  I don't order but they keep coming.

Re: Hardly any catalogs for the holidays

[ Edited ]

Vermont Country Store has a place on their website to sign up for their free catalog. I do enjoy getting it and looking through it. Printing and mailing catalogs is expensive for companies so I guess most spend that money on online sales now instead. I remember waiting with anticipation of the Sears wish book and others before the holidays when I was a child....such happy memories. Sometimes just holding a paper catalog in your hands and flipping through it is just what you need!
