FWIW.......
If you are having a hard time finding certain items/products in retail stores or believe the manufacturer no longer makes, ALWAYS check Amazon as a last resort. 99.99% of the time Amazon has it.
The following I get from Amazon that are no longer sold in my area any longer........
Mr Clean Magic Scrubs for showers & tubs
Octagon (laundry) soap
Clearly Canadian

I can only find replacement rechargeable batteries for my 20+ year old Eureka Quick-Up vacuum on Amazon.

I usually start looking on Amazon and often find that they either don't have the items or the prices are far from a bargain.
Then I next look for new items on eBay, and go to other sites if no luck there.

@Mz iMac Well I had no idea they still made clearly canadian. Love that stuff. But I looked and discovered I can't afford it anyway. ![]()

I do that all the time. I can't say 99.99% but I do find what I'm looking for the majority of the time. Often at at a higher price but Amazon isn't a discount store so its ok.

@sunshine45 Thanks for that article.
Back in da day, I would purchase cases of CC from BJ's. My next trip to them, I am going to ask the manager if BJ's will be helping w/the CC comeback.

Yup, @Mz iMac --- when my Walmart, for some unknown reason, stopped carrying British "PG Tips" tea, I immediately ordered up a boatload from Amazon.
Ditto, all of a sudden couldn't find "Perfect Scents" --- (facsimiles of classic perfumes like Chanel #5, Opium, Blue) at local drugstore, there they all were on Amazon.
I suspect that some of the local shortages were temporary supply chain issues, but now it's so easy to just order -- nice to have that option.

For me it was cat food. Last year there was none to be found at my grocery store. Not even dry. Amazon to the rescue. Ordered several cases delivered right at my door.

Yesterday went looking for Final Touch Fabric Softener at Walmart and then at Publix. No luck: not even a shelf space where it was before being sold out.
Found it on Amazon: $17 / small bottle; $34 / large size. No thanks....I'll replace it with baking soda in the washer rinse cycle ( a note said that white vinegar could damage hoses and cause leaks. )
Research: It was discontinued in November 2022 for more advanced technology. The reason I preferred it: hardly any scent.
Guess if my makeup can be discontinued, why not laundry products.
