It normally doesn't bother me, and really, for the most part, I've given up on the Christmas push. Didn't Christmas in July begin in May or June? But, that being said, yesterday, there was a darling sweater saying MERRY, lettered in candycanes and it was obviuosly for Chrismas. The sales person, and also the designer of the sweater, said probably, twice, that the sweater was perfectly good for celebrating Hanukkah. Well, you can love the sweater, and purchase it, but it's not for Hanukkah. I actually liked the green one, but then I came to my senses. Happy Holidays to whatever you're celebrating.

I understood what she meant. I bought the green one.

It was well understood, but don't say it's also for Christmas. The green sweater was darling.

Addie2118, the hosts are doing hard sell on everything and as much as I would like to view the products, I don't need to be told how many to buy, where to wear, who to give it to as a gift, etc. After 5 minutes I have to turn off. You were right with your thought. It almost makes me feel bad for them. Just comes across as desperite.

I don't buy or wear holiday themed clothing.
First, you can only get limited wear from them and secondly, people make fun of this type of clothing.
I don't care...you should wear what you want, but I am not looking for any negative attention and don't want to be the brunt of any jokes.

I pretty much can tune out what they are saying unless it is pertinent, which usually it is not.
I rarely watch anyways and just shop online.
If we post about every thing hosts say that we find silly/offensive/dumb etc...we will be here all day.
I am sure whoever said what, didn't mean any harm. They are just doing their job saying what they think will help sell the most products. I will not fault them for doing what they are probably instructed to.
That is what shopping channels do.

@Carmie Well, if my kids and grandkids want to make fun of me for wearing this on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day while we're hanging out opening presents, I can live with that.

@santorini I doubt they would do that. You're their favorite Grandma.
