Texasmouse, once a marine, always a marine. Thanks for this info. My father was a boy when his mother gave permission for him to join the Navy. When he was old enough, he joined the Marines. He was in WW2 and the Korean War. He was a fighter plane mechanic. We have some fabulous pictures of him with the WW2 planes, the pilots and some troop entertainment shows. He was so very handsome too. He passed away when I was 13 years old. I have so many questions that I wish I had asked him.

I am married to a Marine, there is no such thing as a former Marine! He's old, served in Vietnam, but still very much a United States Marine! Thankful to all who served!
