Oh, no way.  I love that!   Ru's name is Rupert.   But I call him RuRu all the time - or baby RuRu, even though he's a big ol' 97lbs and will be 6 tomorrow.

He's a talker and when he talks it sounds like RuuuuuuuRuuuuuu.  too cute.

I also love rubies, but I guess that's a whole other thing.

@chickenbutt I love rubies too (birthstone!) but alas, a really nice genuine ruby of a good size is kinda out of the question ;-( I had a beautiful estate ruby ring with diamond bypass set in 18K, but lost it in a fire. About 20 years ago, everything I owned went up in flames, so no yearbook, no old family keepsakes or photos any more :-( I also had a beautiful bohemian garnet flower petal ring that was my grandmother's. Irreplaceable - that one, I've tried to replace.
