Happy St. Patrick's Day

   Toni and her family will be going to a

St. Patrick's Day Ceili as they do, every year. It will be at a Hibernian Hall.

    There will be a band playing Irish music

and dancing.

    Toni has been taking Irish step dancing lessons and she is excited and looking

forward to performing with her dance group, for the first time at a Ceili.

     Toni is wearing a white blouse with a Peter Pan collar and puffed sleeves.

     At her neckline is a little green bow and a 14kt. gold claddaugh. (It is actually one of my gold claddaugh earrings).

     Using my poodle skirt pattern, I made Toni's skirt from green felt, with white lace embellishment and a little shamrock applique. She is wearing her black step dancing shoes.

    We all wish Toni good luck with her performance.

@Enufstuff you've truly outdone yourself.

First, I love Toni's hair, a very soft, strawberry color. Beautiful!

Your using your earring as her necklace was inspired. It couldn't look any prettier.

Toni's dress is so sweet, just perfect.

She will be the belle of the ball at the celebration for sure.

              Thank you so much. I'm glad that you enjoyed seeing Toni in her new outfit.

             This Toni was added to my collection last year.

I could not resist her with this hair color. I had never seen this strawberry blonde on a Toni doll before.

             In a book about Ideal Company Dolls, this color is described as "Apricot" and is rare, since few Toni Dolls were made with this color wig. Blonde was the most popular and most produced color for these dolls, back in the 50s.
