Spring has officially sprung!

It's the spring equinox!

Time to look forward to warmer days, (maybe).

It's supposed to rain here with the (slight) possibility of a t-storm or two.

How are you celebrating the first day of spring?

I love Spring. Love Fall better, but I'll take it! We started off with a frost today, so winter isn't ready to say goodbye.

I love spring and summer! My spring resolution is to take my 45-minute walk as close to every day as possible. I've slacked off a bit in the past couple of weeks, but I was consistent through later January and February. It was cold and at times windy, but I liked it because there weren't a lot of other people walking along the shore. I like to have it all to myself. Spring cleaning is on tap for me today.

After the last couple of weeks of really nice, sometimes into the low 70's for temps, woke up to snow on the ground, lol. Happy Spring, everyone.

Our spring began a little early this year but you wouldn’t know it today. It feels like winter again. In our area the turtles and frogs came out of hibernation earlier than usual because of the warmer temps. I took this photo last week. It’s so nice to see things coming back to life. I love Spring.

I love to walk this time of year with my dog. We've been really picking up the pace now too, getting out able to walk more regularly and watching all the neighborhoods come back to life with trees and flowers coming into bloom.

So great the mornings will soon be lighting up earlier again, everything turning 50 shades of GREEN!!!!!

Adding my Happy First Day of Spring greetings!

Where I live (25 miles NW of NYC) the temps are bitter cold and we're awaiting the arrival of Nor'Easter Regis and the snow he'll be bringing! It was supposed to start this afternoon...now it's supoosed to start this evening. Originally we were supposed to get at least 6"...now we're supossed to get a dusting to an inch. Those weather peeps just can't seem to make up their minds!
