Ringo Starr is 84 yrs old today. He's the oldest Beatle although born the same year as John who was born in December of 1940.

The guy looks incredible and still has lots of energy.

And still tours with his All Starr band! I'm so happy that both he and Paul ❤️ still seem to be very sharp at their advanced ages. Both are witty guys despite Ringo's malapropisms that ended up being titles to great Beatles songs. Rock on, Ringo! 🥁🇬🇧

ETA: i noticed in the Get Back documentary that Paul called Ringo "Richie." Also I saw on FB that Paul wished Ringo a happy birthday.

It seems like he was just a young kid on the Ed Sullivan Show...unbelievable.

They took us all on a helluva ride!

@Mersha ] You ask a great question. I suppose the same way that in the blink of an eye I'm in my 70s. How on earth did that happen so fast?

Ringo is still so youthful and energetic, and was a very sickly child, that it's even more incredible that he's 84.

I saw the Stones in concert last week and they all looked and sounded great!

@naturalfan Uhhhh....I've seen current video of Mick and thought he looked mega-wrinkled! Glad they sounded good.

I saw Ringo on a,talk show about a year ago. Colbert asked him his secret being so spry at his age. He said blueberries and broccoli. He's a vegetarian. Hope he continues to enjoy his life!

He also gave up alcohol and any other "stimulants" decades ago. He just didn't want to go down that road.

The wrinkles are there but that guy can still move. They put on a teriffic show. There were people of all ages there. I saw three boys about 10 to 12 years old. They had on their Stones t-shirts and were singing and dancing right along. There were people in their 20's through their 80's there.
