Re: Happy Birthday, Princess Catherine

Catherine was said to be spending her birthday at home in Adelaide Cottage with her husband and children.

It seems like a pleasant and private retreat.

The four bedroom house near Windsor Castle has a 'fairy tale' look to me, with its steeply pointed, almost Gothic roof line--

It would be fun to gather in front of the fire in the sitting room.

But the unassuming kitchen is inviting too.

They may be out there, but I've not run across many pictures of the interior.  This background behind the Princess is of one their rooms at Adelaide Cottage also.

Hope they've had a great day at home!

I'm glad William put his wife above his official duties, and King Charles sent his youngest brother to represent him at President Carter's funeral.

Princess Kate said publicly today that her cancer is in remission, that is wonderful news.

Re: Happy Birthday, Princess Catherine

Princess Catherine took on her first solo engagement today after announcing her cancer is in remission.  Catherine went back to the Royal Marsden Hospital where she had her treatments and spent time with numerous patients. The Prince and Princess of Wales are going to be Patrons of the hospital just like the late Diana, Princess of Wales was in her time.
