Today, 7/7/23, is the 77th wedding anniversary of former president and first lady Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter. They are the longest married president and first lady ever.

What an example of a married couple they are!

77 years married! They are the kindest, gentlest role models. I know he is in hospice care, but I am glad they could celebrate another anniversary.

We were lucky to have such wonderful, giving, caring and loving people serving this country in so many ways.

They led by example and their morals and convictions were so admired.

@Mersha In terms of us being lucky, unfortunately job performance is not measured by the qualities you listed. If it was, Jimmy might have had a second term. So, I disagree with your statement.
