I listened to/watched a newly made video from Dr. Graham today and was so impressed that he was so clear-thinking and well-spoken at his ripe old age. A great reward awaits him.

His correct title is Reverend Graham. It can be written as Rev. Graham.

This statement bothers me. Rev. Graham was not a rabid type of preacher. Anyone who used to listen to his sermons knows that. He was nothing like some of the preachers today.

Someone is busy taking down the truth about Rev. Graham. He most certainly was not as described by another poster.

Civil rights movement

During a 1953 rally, Graham tore down the ropes that organizers had erected to separate the audience into racial sections. He recounted in his memoirs that he told two ushers to leave the barriers down "or you can go on and have the revival without me." He warned a white audience, "we have been proud and thought we were better than any other race, any other people. Ladies and gentlemen, we are going to stumble into hades because of our pride."

Happy Birthday Rev. Graham!

Listening to him preach on television, my mom and I used to discuss a lot of topics he touched on when I was growing up. She really loved him yet he was of a different faith. That's the kind of man he was....he touched many of us simply because he was a good man and tried to be a good human being.

I remember my grandparents loved to watch his revivals on tv.

I think Samaritan's Purse is a GREAT and WORTHY cause.
