Had an email bright and early this morning from my bank asking about a questionable credit card charge. I responded that I did not authorize that charge and credit card company immediately called me. Went through charges for the past couple of days. First couple of charges were to charitable organizations (guess they are nice criminals) and then clothing stores and on line retailers outside of the US.
Of course this account was closed and I will be issued a new card. I won't be liable for these charges but it just makes me angry how this can happen. Not sure where they got my info but obviously somebody did. Only good thing was that the bank contacted me immediately and took prompt action. I know there were a few other threads on this subject over the past few weeks. Anyway, everybody try to stay safe. Bad guys are out there in force.
