I really feel light shades of polish , neutrals should be the nail code for hosts. I don't like those nails that are all different colors on each nail with stones and embellishments. And some are overly long and pointy. They look like daggers. I like a nice ova nail shape.

I was watching a "jewelry channel"...and the ladies' hands had red knuckles with cuts, scrapes and even bandages. Made me wonder what their "second job" was. di
@Desertdi. Maybe she has a cat that needed a toenail clip.
Or maybe she has a home with Family, and does what normal people do, has work without a camera on her. These people have a life I;m sure outside of TV.It's nice to see nice nails but more important ,the product their selling.
Or, the host could have used some concealer... di

Whatever people choose in their private lives is certainly their business.
But I find hosts with highly decorated nails serve as a distraction with their sales presentations. I have not noticed that on HSN, but so much on QVC. Maybe just me.

The one that distracts me the worst is JT having grown out acrylic nails, looks terrible. She needs nail fillers way before it shows the grown out fake ones.

I have to say, Leah always has the best nails.......just my opinion.
I agree, I always said, Leah should be a hand model.

I always notice hands and nails. I think hands are beautiful, and love to see pretty, well kept nails.
It's part of your job when selling jewelry and shoes to have manis and pedis, well kept nails and cuticles. It's disgusting to see ill kept feet.
It's not my job, but I like to care for nails and feet. You don't have to paint them, but they need care like your hair and everything else.
I've seen plenty bad of both.

No, not just you.
These women (and men?) are supposed to be sales professionals, but they don't act OR dress the part.
The item you are presenting is the star, momentarily, and nothing should distract.

those over decorated and long dragon nails are nothing but cheap looking and anything they present with those nails depreciates the product that is presented. Enough witht the ugly manicures. Leah has the best nails and hands in the business.

Yes, I do notice. A good manicure goes a long way when you are on television.
I also saw a model who had two different color hands, one must have had a bunch of self tanner on and the other must not have,. It was very distracting as she was rubbing serum all over her face.
