@SeaMaiden Our foot traffic has been non-exiistent for years now.  A lot of the churches  in our area have started to host fall hay rides and cookouts for the little ones.  This is a structured event and well received, a lot safer too!

Always went to DS's home for pizza and I always made gift bags for everyone.

 

I am still making the gift bags; but will have to drop them off since there will be no trick-or-treating this year.  *sigh*

 

I am still thinking about those who let kiddies take their own candy.

We never did that growing up and we don't do it now.  Always handed out the candy.
