Re: Half way to having Daylight Savings Time permanent

Well, I've have to get a new car. The time changes automatically and I don't know how to change it manually 😊

Re: Half way to having Daylight Savings Time permanent

Some years ago, in the 70s as I remember, we stayed on Daylight Savings into the winter. It created a problem for children who had to either wait  for their bus or walk to school in the dark. It was a safety issue then and will be now. I don't  mind the twice a year time change, but if that's to be eliminated than Standard time should be chosen. It's makes the most sense.

I sent an email to my US Representative today urging her to support the DST bill.  Took very little time and effort.

I remember that also.  Other issues came up with farming hours, etc.  From what I've heard, if we stay on Standard Time permanently there will be northern states that won't see sunrise till 8AM and after for some 80 days.  I don't know how I feel about starting my days that way.

I agree.  One more vote for standard time.
