I don't like Shawn's hair. It looks striped and she is always shoving it back. She also wears way too much makeup. She doesn't need that much.

I don't really worry about hair trends. My hair is going to do what it wants and I'm better off (and happier) working with it than fighting it.

Same here!  Like you, I embrace my naturally curly hair.  I don't care whether it's the current fad or not!

Well one can't help but notice Shawn's hair, longer on one side and hanging over one eye and half her face, it's been that way for awhile. Other than that I did notice Sharon has adapted pretty much the hairdo you describe. The one hairdo that does irritate me (I'm old and cranky and easily irritated, LOL) is long hair parted in the middle and hanging down over the shoulders in the front. Especially when watching fashions on QVC or even more so when watching Say Yes To The Dress, which happens to be one of my favorite shows. Just can't stand it when the brides to be are trying on dresses and have that hair hanging down over the front of their shoulders so you can't see half the dress on top/

I hate to see women part their long hair in the back and pull ALL of it around and hanging down in the front.  It looks horrible from the back and makes them look hump shouldered.

i just finished with the short almost shaved, but not quite on one side and longer on the other.  not like shawn's at all.  underneath was short ,but the long hair covered it.  the long hair was to my ear.

i have naturally curly hair, but wore this straight.  the back was very short.

i just started the process of letting this grow.  if i had known, i would never had this style because it's going to take awhile to grow out.

i liked it and it suited me, but i get tired of my hair and am always changing.  talk to me in a year and we'll see what i'm wearing then!  lol

A friend of mine who has had a pixie cut for a number of years because she was too ill to care much had some surgery and is about 90% better. She has decided to allow her hair to grow and it is very curly and just looks so pretty and feminine. That , along with not having the drawn, pained look anymore and she just looks  years younger. There is no doubt about it that longer hair and curls make a woman seem more feminine and pretty. At least I think so.

@shaggygirl. I can't decide which is more distracting, SK's haircut or the blonde stripes on dark hair.

Time for the beach waves to go away.

Just my opinion, intentional beach waves on an older woman, 65+ is not a good look.

The straight hair thing, I've had all my life!!! It parts on its own because of the weight of the hair. I don't like that look on me. I like curl.
