I just read, as of 8:00PM tonight all salons/barber shops/personal care establishments will be closed in NJ.

I think I have the same mother as some of you.   I cancelled my hair appointment for next week.   My mother is 87 and goes every week.  She always has been very particular about her hair.  When I spoke to her this morning, I mentioned that she shouldn't worry about not getting her hair done, as she wouldn't be going out for awhile.  She said she would "think about" cancelling.  I know what that means.  She likes to stop for a few groceries afterwards, too.  She has help and doesn't have to go out for anything.  She just  doesn't like to stay in.

I just don't know what else I can say to make her stay home.

I really don't care about not going, myself.  I'm not going anywhere that it matters anyway these days.  I like giving my hair a rest from coloring for awhile.

Well if my salon closes it will quarantine me for sure because there's no way I'll even go to the mailbox with gray roots.  šŸ˜‰

All hair salons are closed in Alabama until April 6 (hope it ends then).

My salon in OKC says if you're sick cancel your appointment.  Otherwise you do come in use hand sanitizer. And when you leave wash your hands.  Also do not bring in a guest with you.

I'm planning to buy something to at least touch up the roots in my part!
